“Mike Tyson Experiences Health Incident on Plane Before Jake Paul Fight: Reports”

Boxing icon Mike Tyson experienced a medical scare while on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles last Sunday, feeling nauseous and dizzy as the plane approached its landing, according to his representatives who spoke with the New Vegas tribune. Despite the alarming symptoms, which were attributed to an ulcer flare-up occurring about 30 minutes before landing, Tyson’s team has confirmed he is now “doing great.”

According to a statement issued by his team, Tyson received immediate assistance from the medical staff onboard. “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing,” his representatives explained. “He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

In Touch Weekly initially reported the incident as a “medical emergency.” An unnamed source told the magazine, “Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded as soon as we landed. There was an announcement asking if a doctor was present, which appeared on everyone’s screens.”

The medical situation reportedly caused a delay in deboarding for passengers, who were asked to remain seated for an additional 25 minutes to allow paramedics to attend to Tyson.

A passenger recounted to In Touch Weekly, “He was in first class, but we were in an exit row and the stewardess was very chatty. They asked us to stay on the plane after it landed so paramedics could enter. She mentioned he was a really important passenger and they wanted to ensure he was OK.”

This incident occurs as Tyson prepares for a much-anticipated bout against Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium. This fight will be officially recorded on their professional boxing records.

Concerns have been raised about Tyson’s physical readiness to return to the ring, especially as he approaches his 58th birthday next month. Tyson himself expressed the physical toll training has taken on him at a recent press conference, stating his body feels “like s— right now.”

Despite the challenges, Tyson’s confidence remains unshaken. He has boldly addressed Paul’s capabilities, questioning Paul’s ability to deliver a knockout. “He couldn’t even knock out the little guys, how’s he going to knock me out?” Tyson remarked, dismissing Paul’s previous performances.

Jake Paul, 27, has maintained a confident stance throughout the promotional activities, asserting his ability to “outbox Mike Tyson” and “prove everyone wrong.”

The upcoming fight marks Tyson’s return to a sanctioned boxing match since June 2005. His last appearance in the ring was a draw in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020.
