Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock expressed enthusiasm for a potential “Speed 3” during their appearance on the “50 MPH” podcast, where they reminisced about the original 1994 action-thriller alongside co-stars Jeff Daniels and Alan Ruck.
Reeves, known for his role in “The Matrix,” playfully suggested that a third installment with Bullock would be a hit, stating, “We’d freakin’ knock it out of the park.” Bullock also showed interest, humorously contemplating their on-screen return, perhaps even in wheelchairs or scooters.
While discussing the possibility of reuniting on screen, Reeves noted that any new project should come naturally, hinting at an unfinished creative connection with Bullock. “It does feel like there is a siren call to it,” he said, expressing a desire to collaborate with Bullock once more.
Reflecting on their past work, Bullock regretted her involvement in “Speed 2,” which did not include Reeves and received poor reviews.
